Eir are recruiting 50 new apprentices in one of the largest recruitment drives in recent times.
Ireland’s largest telecoms operator EIR are recruiting 50 new apprentices as the company is set to embark on the “largest broadband rollout programme in Europe” here in Ireland.
166 apprentices have completed the EIR apprenticeship programme in the past three years.
This latest announcement is a great opportunity for 50 new apprentices to be part of the team bringing fibre broadband to homes and businesses throughout the country.

Eir’s apprentice programme is open to candidates who have completed the Leaving Certificate or equivalent exams and have a full driving licence.
A spokesperson added: “Commencing in November successful applicants will begin two years of training with extensive preparatory and on-the-job learning supported by an experienced technician throughout.”
Following the successful completion of the two year programme, top performers will be offered full-time roles with Eir.
